Jazz & Rock Out with Live Music Center Music Students

Live Music Center has been educating and mentoring jazz, rock, pop and classical musicians in Solano County since 1987.  At Live Music Center, we believe that music is for everyone, whether your focus is to be a professional musician or play casually at home for fun. Students are encouraged to be their best musical selves, gaining confidence, skill, and experience all the time. The Live Music Center's Jazz Combo, The Licks, consists of music students and instructors playing side by side, which makes the performance quality outstanding while giving students an excellent opportunity to learn next to professionals. The Licks play frequently at festivals, markets, and private events in the community and always put on an entertaining show. Live Music Center also developed a rock band program that has been going strong since 2015.  LMC's unique program teaches musicians from ages 8 and up how to learn songs, perform on stage, and how to work together as a group in a manner that's professional, compassionate, and fun. We focus on learning life skills as well as making amazing music together.
